Rutland Water: Red-necked Grebe still at the south end of the dam.
Wednesday 26th February
Eyebrook Res: adult male American Wigeon still, off the Plantation shore north of the island this afternoon, also adult Med Gull, juv Whooper Swan and 3 Pink-footed Geese at the inflow, 11 Scaup north of the Island and 6+ Smew scattered around still.
Syston: 2 White-fronted Geese still at the Gate Hangs Well.
Priory Water: 1 White-fronted Goose still.
Watermead CP: no sign of Long-tailed Duck today.

Eyebrook Res: 9 Smew, 11 Scaup & 3 Pink-footed Geese still, but no reports of American Wigeon today.
Watermead CP South: female Long-tailed Duck still on Mammoth Lake.
Swithland Res: female Lesser Scaup still on south side.
Rutland Water: Red-necked Grebe still off the dam.
Syston: 8 White-fronted Geese in field south of The Gate Hangs Well.
Wanlip North Lakes: 19 White-fronted Geese on private land.

Eyebrook Res: drake American Wigeon still north of the island, 8+ Smew & 10 Scaup.
Watermead CP South: female Long-tailed Duck still on Mammoth Lake.
Swithland Res: female Lesser Scaup still on south side.
Rutland Water: Red-necked Grebe still off the dam, also Kittiwake.
Loughborough: 18+ White-fronted Geese still from railway bridge on Nottingham Road towards Cotes.
Syston: 1 White-fronted Goose still at Gate Hangs Well.

Eyebrook Res: drake American Wigeon north of the island early afternoon (presumably last year’s bird returning), also 12 Smew, 10 Scaup, juv Whooper Swan and 3 Pink-footed Geese still.
Watermead CP South: female Long-tailed Duck still on Mammoth Lake this morning at least.
Rutland Water: adult Kittiwake, South Arm 3 this morning, also Red-necked Grebe still at south end of the dam.
Swithland Res: female Lesser Scaup still on the south side.

Watermead CP South/Birstall: female Long-tailed Duck moving between Mammoth Lake and Key Lake.
Rutland Water: Red-necked Grebe still at south end of the dam.

Watermead CP South: female Long-tailed Duck relocated on Mammoth Lake.
Rutland Water: Red-necked Grebe still at south end of the dam.
Swithland Res: female Lesser Scaup still on the south side.
Eyebrook Res: 10+ Smew and 10 Scaup still, mostly between the Island and the dam this afternoon. Also 3 Pink-footed Geese still with Greylags on Leics side of the inflow.

Watermead CP Birstall: female Long-tailed Duck on Key Lake this afternoon. First record for the Soar Valley.
Rutland Water: Slav Grebe, South Arm between Teal and Swan hides; Red-necked Grebe still at the dam; Bittern again, Lagoon 3.
Swithland Res: female Lesser Scaup still on the south side.
Eyebrook Res: 7 Smew still.

Eyebrook Res: 6 Smew, 10 Scaup, 3 Pink-footed Geese & juv Whooper Swan still. No further reports of the Tundra Bean Geese since Thursday.

Stanford Res (permit holders only): 5 drake Common Scoters from the hide.
