Groby Pool: an ‘extremely tatty’ (no tail and in wing moult) White-tailed Eagle, presumably an introduced bird, flew high east at 10:08.

Eyebrook Res: 2 Little Terns.

Rutland Water: Black Tern from Wader Scrape hide, Lyndon.

Sunday 14th June

Undisclosed site, Rutland: male Montagu’s Harrier for an hour this morning, then flew north.

Cossington Meadows: Knot (same bird that was on Wanlip Scrape yesterday) & Green Sandpiper, Upper Marsh.

Saturday 13th June

Eyebrook Res: 10 drake Common Scoters north of the Island, also Whooper Swan still in south-west corner.

Wanlip Meadows: 1 Knot.
