Eyebrook Res: Spotted Redshank still at the inflow. Also nearby a wholly unconfirmed report of a male Red-footed Falcon for 10 minutes this afternoon over fields south of Great Easton.

Eyebrook Res: Spotted Redshank still at the inflow, also 3 Sanderlings, 13 Ringed Plovers & 3 Common Sandpipers; Marsh Harrier NE at 11:07 + 8 more Ringed Plovers at the island.

Thornton Res: Sanderling on the dam this evening.

Friday 16th May

Ibstock: Purple Heron flew low over the brickworks at c14:40, then gained height and lost to view towards Ellistown.

Eyebrook Res: Spotted Redshank at the inflow + 2 Black Terns off Stoke Dry car park.

Ulverscroft: no sign of Wood Warbler today.

Rutland Water: Fulmar flew east along South Arm 3 at 12:50 but no further sign.

Ulverscroft: Wood Warbler still singing opposite the Fox Covert entrance to Ulverscoft NR.

Hicks Lodge: Bar-tailed Godwit still.

Eyebrook Res: up to 34 Arctic Terns, Wood Sandpiper, Bar-tailed Godwit, 4 Ringed Plovers & 7 Common Sandpipers.

Rutland Water: 78 Arctic Terns, South Arm 2 this afternoon.

Stanford Res (permit holders only): 27 Arctic Terns flew through this morning.

Swithland Res: 17 Arctic Terns on the south side early afternoon, three remaining later.

Stoneygate, Leicester: 2 Cranes flew south-south-east at 17:50.

Wanlip Meadows: 1 Greenshank still.
