Conservation Tasks: Owl Boxes Erected at Church Farm

With summer migrants starting to arrive we have concentrated on maintaining and constructing nesting opportunities. Two owl boxes have been erected at Church Farm and we have also provided conservation advice to the land owner. Osprey nest platforms have been checked and I thank Mike James for his help on this task. With the skill and expertise of Colin Green two tern rafts are nearing completion. They will be launched at Eyebrook Reservoir later this spring.
