Manton: Crossbill flew over early afternoon.

Eyebrook Res: 2 Green Sandpipers, 2 Common Sandpipers & 1 LRP at the inflow.

Friday 24th

Leicester: White Stork flew north (mobbed by Peregrines!) over Rutland Street at 11:25.

Rutland Water: 2 Little Terns, Lagoon 4.

Eyebrook Res: 5 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Green Sandpipers, Common Sandpiper, 4 LRPs & 4 Ringed Plovers at the inflow.

Thursday 23rd

Eyebrook Res: 2 Green Sandpipers, Common Sandpiper, 2 LRPs & 2 Ringed Plovers at the inflow.

Wednesday 22nd

Eyebrook Res: Common Sandpiper & Ringed Plover at the inflow.

Tuesday 21st

Burbage: Crane flew south-west over Sketchley Road at 05:10.

Monday 20th

Rutland Water: Short-eared Owl, Lagoon 1 this afternoon.

Saturday 18th

Rutland Water: 1st-summer Med Gull, Lagoon 4; Short-eared Owl, Egleton Lane.

Friday 17th

Rutland Water: drake Garganey, Lagoon 6.

Sunday 12th

Eyebrook Res: Marsh Harrier at 14:00.

Friday 10th

Eyebrook Res: Avocet at the inflow this morning at least.

Friday 3rd

Littlethorpe: Nightjar heard calling in flight for 10 minutes around 01:30.

Also late news of another Nightjar in a Melton Mowbray garden on 27th May.

Stoney Cove: 12 Common Scoters.

Wanlip Meadows: 1 Ruff.

Cropston Res: Osprey flishing late afternoon.
