Rutland Water: Spotted Redshank, Lagoon 3.

Monday 29th

Rutland Water: Little Tern & 2 Green Sandpipers, Lagoon 4.

Sunday 28th

Rutland Water: 2 Little Terns, Lagoon 4 this evening, then flew off south.

Saturday 27th

Rutland Water: Garganey, Spotted Redshank & 3 Green Sandpipers, Lagoon 2 + 2nd-summer Med Gull flew over.

Eyebrook Res: 4 Green Sandpipers at the inflow & Common Sandpiper at the island.

Friday 26th

Eyebrook Res: Green Sandpiper still at the inflow, also 1 Hobby.

Thursday 25th

Rutland Water: Whimbrel briefly on Lagoon 3 at 17:15, also 3 Green Sandpipers there.

Albert Village Tip: adult Med Gull.

Eyebrook Res: Green Sandpiper, inflow & 2 Curlews at the island.

Wednesday 24th

Rutland Water: 2 Black Terns, Lagoon 3.

Tuesday 23rd

Rutland Water: adult Med Gull, Dunlin & 11 Ringed Plovers, Lagoon 4; Black-tailed Godwit, Lagoon 3.

Sunday 21st

Eyebrook Res: Green Sandpiper at the inflow, also a very unseasonal male Stonechat.

Friday 19th

Bradgate Park: 8 Crossbills behind the ruins, then flew towards Deer Park Wood at 12:15.

Wednesday 17th

Late news for yesterday: Cattle Egret at Lyndon reserve, Rutland Water, but no further details and no sign of it today.

Monday 15th

Eyebrook Res: 2 Little Terns this afternoon, on the mud at the inflow or flying around, till at least 16:00.

Sunday 14th

Cropston Res: Little Stint at the inflow.

Eyebrook Res: 6 Bar-tailed Godwits still at the inflow.

Thornton Res: Black-necked Grebe still opposite the fishing lodge.

Rutland Water: Sanderling, Lagoon 4.

Saturday 13th

Eyebrook Res: 6 Bar-tailed Godwits at the inflow.

Thornton Res: Black-necked Grebe still opposite the fishing lodge.

Friday 12th

Leicester: Osprey over City centre at 08:15.

Albert Village Lake: adult Med Gull.

Loughborough: 5 Crossbills flew north.

Thornton Res: Black-necked Grebe opposite the fishing lodge.

Rutland Water: Spotted Redshank, Wet Meadow; Black Tern, Manton Bay.

Sunday 7th

Rutland Water: 3 Sanderlings, Lagoon 4.

Saturday 6th

Rutland Water: 2 Sanderlings, Lagoon 4.

Abbey Park, Leicester: drake Red-crested Pochard.

Friday 5th

Eyebrook Res: Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Dunlin & 9 Ringed Plovers at the inflow.

Thursday 4th

Eyebrook Res: 2 Avocets & 1 Black-tailed Godwit at the inflow.

Wanlip Meadows: Sanderling still on the scrape.

Kilworth Springs GC: late Wheatear this evening.

Wednesday 3rd

Rutland Water: 4 Sanderlings & 11 Ringed Plovers, Lagoon 4.

Eyebrook Res: Turnstone still, also 2 Dunlins & 25 Ringed Plovers.

Rutland Water: Little Tern, Wader Scrape hide, Lyndon, this morning.

Eyebrook Res: Turnstone, 3 Dunlin & 18 Ringed Plovers.

Wanlip Meadows: Sanderling still on the scrape.
